Abstract

This document describes the Transporeon Shipper Standard Interface (SSI), designed to exchange information between a customer’s in-house system and the Transporeon platform in a standard way. It is available for customers from different industries and with different processes, to benefit from using the complete Transporeon platform or only part of its functionalities.

When to use

Shipper Standard Interface (SSI) is a set of standard data structures which can be imported to and exported from Transporeon using one of the available data exchange methods. These include HTTP APIs as well as other common protocols.

SSI is the interface to use if you are owning business objects like transports or bookings (e.g. in shipper or freight forwarder role), and decided to use standard Transporeon integration.
