Use Case

A forwarder wants to use Auto Match for a particular transport.

Description

• The Auto Match assignment method allows a forwarder to publish a transport using artificial intelligence for matching

• Auto Match offers the transport to a group of the forwarder's carriers. It will propose each a price.

• The first carrier to accept their offered price is assigned the transport at that price. All other carriers see the transport as “Not received”.

• The forwarder must define a "walk-away" price and currency as maximum price they are willing to pay.

• The forwarder can set a deadline for matching. It must be at minimum 30 minutes.

Relevant Fields

To use the Auto Match feature, specific fields and values must be send with the transport order DTOs. They are documented here: Autonomous Procurement (Autonomous Procurement is the shipper product name. Technically they use the same API).
