Transport Status Transitions

As a basic use case, whenever a new transport or order is created in your system, it can be pushed to Transporeon with transport status according to the assignment method and delivery status “N” (New).

Use the following status

Status

Description

Status

Description

N

Save new transport for manual assignment

D

Delete transport

NTO

Route No Touch Order

BC

Publish Best Carrier

AP

Publish Autonomous Procurement

For updates, you don't need to keep track of the assignment to send the correct status value to us. As long as the assignment process does not change, we will automatically keep the current process and assignment state.

Example 1

  • Transport has been initially sent with status N for manual assignment

  • After assignment process has been finished, your system sends an update still with status N

→ Our system will keep the current process and will only update the contents

Example 2

  • Transport has been sent with a preassigned carrier and NTO status

  • An update is sent with the same carrier and still NTO status

→ Our system will keep the current assignment process and just update fields

  • After the carrier has accepted the transport, your system sends an update still with status NTO

→ Our system will keep the accepted state and just update fields

Example 3

  • Transport has been sent with status BC to start a Best Carrier process

  • An update is sent from your system, now with status NTO

→ Our system will cancel the Best Carrier process and start a new No-touch Order process
