Allocate a vehicle to provide visibility
After having connected your fleet with Visibility, your input is needed for each transport, so you can provide visibility to your customers.

You have the possibility to stop the tracking by removing the allocation or to allocate another license plate No., for example following a tractor switch.

Edit vehicle allocation
Select the transport you want to edit
Click the green truck button
→ A new dialogue opens.Click the pencil related to Details
Select the relevant license plate No.
Click Save
→ The dialogue is closed.
→ The allocation is updated.
During the allocation process, you have the possibility to check and allocate any license plate that is in the Visibility database. This is called Global Allocation.
Example: Your subcontractor will execute the transport, but you have no confirmation whether it is connected with Visibility or not. You can start typing its license plate in the allocation dialogue. If you can find it, allocate it.
The route will not be displayed to you nor the shipper if you have not invited this subcontractor to join your Transport Network on Visibility.
Allocate a vehicle in Time Slot Management
When booking a time slot in Time Slot Management, please enter the license plate No. in the dedicated field. If this license plate No. is matched with a Visibility-enabled license plate No., this will automatically perform an allocation.
When the allocation is performed, the following sentence is shown During the transport execution, ETA data will be available.
If the license plate No. couldn’t be matched on Visibility, the following sentence is shown To get ETA data during the transport execution, you need to allocate a vehicle.
If you have to edit the license plate No., please open the booking, click the blue truck button, then click the pencil related to Details. Select the relevant license plate No. and click Save.
